The difference between MIM and PM process

High pressure one-way rough metal powder pressed into a fixed position to create a moderately complex equipment with traditional PM. In particular, no further improve its density during sintering process. This method yields the density value between 80-90%, which limits its physical properties as alloy. At the same time, it also limits the PM process can only do a simple shape of the product.

Because the MIM is similar to plastic injection molding, it is not limited to the production of complex products. Fine metallic powder with high temperature sintering of the final product produced by MIM can reach very high density. This makes MIM products and precision materials with similar properties.
