Electroplating Requirements by MIM metal injection molding

Electroplating process after MIM metal injection molding generally include three stages:  pre plating treatment, electroplating and after-plating treatment.

Requirements for plating layer:

1.       Good adhesion between coating and base metal, coating and coating

2.       Fine crystal, smooth surface and uniform thickness.

3.       The coating shall be provided with a specified thickness and as little as possible porosity

4.       Coating should have various tragets, such as brightness, hardness, electrical conductivity and so on.
