Guiyang’s landmark Ring Bridge to be demolished

The ring overpass in Dashizi, downtown Guiyang city is to be demolished. Build for over 20 years, the bridge now accommodates for more than 50 shops, and has been considered icon of the provincial capital of Guizhou province. However, as the city grows, the overpass no longer meets local traffic needs. It will be replaced by an underground passage way with four exits.
