Metal powder injection molding (MIM) is a
new type of powder metallurgy near net forming technology which combines the
modern plastic injection molding technology with the traditional powder metallurgy
technology. MIM products with high dimensional accuracy (+ 0.1% ~ + 0.5%), good
surface finish (roughness 1 ~ 5 m), and the yield is very large. But the MIM
process is more, there are certain technical barriers. Why MIM can't do a
mobile phone in the frame structure / back cover larger?
First of all, MIM debinding and sintering

boxes / cover in the high-end market; stamping represents a phone box / cover in
the low-end market, the mainstream of MIM on behalf of mobile phone small parts
and other metal parts.
