Micro Injection Molding Technology


Germany began to study micro injection molding technology 10 years ago. But all the raw material are thermoplastic, whose minimum size has amounted to 0.2 um. Based on the study, Germany is researching micro injection molding and micro ceramic injection molding technology. The powders are average particle size 1 5 microns carbonyl iron powder, 4 ~ 5 microns stainless steel powder and 0.6 microns alumina powder. Binder has used since the mix of polyolefin/wax compounds with normal aldehyde compounds. The binders are mixed polyolefin, Wax compounds, Normal aldehyde compounds. De-binding methods on study have heating to remove organic matter, poly aldehyde compound de-binding method and supercritical carbon dioxide method.
